That&#8217;s an unusual combination.<\/p>\n<h2>Where luxury homes are in Madrid<\/h2>\n<h3>\u25c6 Barrio de Salamanca: the epicentre of established luxury<\/h3>\n<p>The Barrio de Salamanca has the highest density of luxury product in Madrid. Serrano, Vel\u00e1zquez, Ortega y Gasset, Jorge Juan and Claudio Coello are the reference streets. Here, the price per square metre for premium product can vary depending on many factors: floor level, height, finishes, whether the property has a terrace, garage, concierge services and extras such as a pool or gym.<\/p>\n<p>What defines luxury in Salamanca isn&#8217;t just the price: it&#8217;s the combination of 19th-century grand architecture restored with care, high ceilings, generous reception rooms and a location that cannot be replicated anywhere else in the city.<\/p>\n<h3>\u25c6 Almagro and upper Cham\u00ber\u00ed: discreet luxury<\/h3>\n<p>For the buyer who wants exclusivity without the exposure of Salamanca&#8217;s most famous streets, Almagro and the upper part of Cham\u00ber\u00ed offer a different but equally exclusive product. Early 20th-century buildings with careful renovations, a very established neighbourhood profile, quiet and accessible at the same time.<\/p>\n<h3>\u25c6 La Moraleja and the northern zone: luxury with space<\/h3>\n<p>The buyer looking for a villa or house with a garden, pool and real square footage has to look beyond Madrid&#8217;s inner neighbourhoods. La Moraleja, Pozuelo de Alarc\u00f3n (Aravaca, La Finca), Majadahonda and the residential areas of the northwest offer a product that doesn&#8217;t exist in the centre: detached luxury housing with private grounds, private security and a tranquil setting.<\/p>\n<h3>\u25c6 El Viso: Madrid&#8217;s best-kept secret<\/h3>\n<p>El Viso is one of the least known neighbourhoods outside Madrid and one of the most valued within it. A 1930s planned residential colony with architect-designed houses, private gardens and a quiet neighbourhood atmosphere completely atypical for central Madrid. Product is scarce, rarely changes hands, and when an opportunity appears it doesn&#8217;t last.<\/p>\n<h2>What luxury costs in Madrid<\/h2>\n<p>The entry threshold for the luxury segment in Madrid is typically from \u20ac1,000,000, although truly premium product starts from \u20ac2,000,000.
